The Concessions Staff is a part-time seasonal position.  Individuals in this position support the Concessions operations by providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the facility is in exceptional condition at all times.  * This is a summer seasonal position with an average workweek of 20-25 hours, beginning the week of June 3, 2024.  A typical schedule is 4-5 days of work per week, with 4-5 hours per shift.  Shifts vary, but can be any day of the week. *


Essential Functions:

1.    Provide excellent customer service while selling concessions products to customers.
2.    Operate cash register accurately.
3.    Ensure that the facility is maintained and organized.  This includes making sure that the area is free of debris.  
4.    Inventory and stock supplies as needed.
5.    Wipe off and clean tables and benches.
6.    Empty all garbage cans and assure that the Concessions area is clean and sanitary.
7.    May be assigned to opening and/or closing responsibilities of the facility.
8.    Close out the cash register, balance the drawer and secure receipts following established procedures.  Prepare petty cash and bank envelopes as assigned.  
9.    Operate all food service equipment.
10.    Make recommendations and work to ensure that the Park District is in compliance with all ADA guidelines for registration, programs and facilities.
11.    Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

1 year of experience in customer service preferred.

Hourly Rate:

$15 + per hour depending on experience
