The Buffalo Grove Park District is accepting applications for a Seasonal Parks Department Laborer. This employee will work an average of 40 hours per week. This is a part-time, seasonal position. This position is available from May - September. Hours are 6:30 am to 3 pm Monday-Friday.

Qualifications:

A high school degree or equivalent
Experience in park maintenance or related field
Must be at least 18 years old

Duties:

Performs daily park maintenance and site clean-up.
Observes and reports safety issues and maintenance issues.
Operates vehicles and equipment.
Perform daily safety check on hand tools, equipment, and vehicles.
Interacts with the general public and collaborates with co-workers.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Hours:

6:30am to 3:00pm

Hourly Rate: $16 - $21 per hour, depending on experience
