Job Summary
The Golf Dome Attendant is a part-time seasonal position.  Individuals in this position support the Dome by assuring the facility is in exceptional condition at all times and by assuring the tee stations are clean, orderly and fully stocked with golf balls.  Custodial duties are also required.

General Information:
Hiring for all shifts; weekday and weekend - morning, mid-day and evening. Shifts are generally between 3 - 8 hours, and may be customized to an individual’s schedule at the start of the season. Our staffed hours are as follows: 8 am - 8 pm - 7 days a week.


The season is from November 13 to April 12. Individuals are expected to maintain the same or similar availability throughout the entire season. There may be shift flexibility through substitutions and switches with other staff. Ability to work both weekdays and weekends is preferred but not required, with the exception of 3-4 mandatory staff events or meetings which will be announced no less than three weeks in advance.

Essential Functions:
1.    Ensure that the facility is maintained and organized.  This includes making sure that the area is free of debris, mats are swept and turned on a regular basis, tees are in place, and that clean golf balls are stocked in the baskets.
2.    Pick golf balls as needed and refill station baskets.
3.    Empty all garbage cans and check the Dome, pro shop and bathrooms regularly.
4.    Provide custodial services for the pro shop, office, halls, bathrooms, vending area and all other areas of the Dome.  This includes cleaning and disinfecting of the bathroom, and, sweeping, vacuuming, and cleaning windows.
5.    Driving the golf cart and picker in the safest manner possible.
6.    Carrying golf balls to all tee stations, including those on the upper deck, as needed.
7.    Completing equipment repairs as instructed.
8.    Provide support for programs and events provided at the Golf Dome.
9.    Maintaining exterior entrances as needed such as shoveling snow, picking up garbage and spreading salt. 
10.  Make recommendations and work to ensure that the Park District is in compliance with all ADA guidelines for registration, programs and facilities.
11.  Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Abilities:
Must be at least 16 years of age. 
Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License

Hourly Rate:
$15.00+ per hour starting
